Kent has over 20 years of banking and finance experience, primarily focused in commercial credit risk. In addition to his previous role at RBC as Director of Commercial Credit and Special Loans across the Prairies, Kent managed RBC’s Agricultural Credit Risk division for all of Canada. Kent has an MBA from the University of Guelph, an Advanced Graduate Diploma in Management through Athabasca University, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba. After retiring from RBC in 2013, and prior to founding Hawco Peters, Kent continued to consult in the banking and restructuring industry, assisting companies in their recovery and growth efforts. In addition to his professional life, Kent owns and assists in the operations of his farm in Manitoba.
