Former Alberta Queen’s Bench Justice
Ged is a former Alberta Queen’s Bench Justice. Prior to joining the Queen’s Bench, he was an arbitrator in the labour and commercial fields for over 20 years. He served as vice-chair of the Alberta Labour Relations Board, chair of the Public Service Employee Relations Board, and a member of the Canadian Panel of Arbitrators of the International Chamber of Commerce. For 10 years, he was a member of the Court’s Commercial Division while continuing to hear family, criminal and other matters, before retiring from the Bench in August of 2017. Ged now uses his extensive legal knowledge and understanding of the litigation process for Hawco Peters, to help companies and individuals resolve disputes without going to court.
